This place in the walled part of Cartagena is very popular with locals and should be with tourists as well. The menu is limited, and based mainly on seafood prepared Caribbean style. Each entree includes a nice bowl of fish soup and plantain chips. However, the best thing at La Mulata is the Yerba Buena which is a chilled, frothy version of bergamot mint tea. It was the best beverage we had in all of Colombia.
Prices are reasonable, but not super cheap. The decor is eclectic with photos and posters of everyone from Fidel Castro to Mick Jagger. At lunch the place has a real vibe to it that you usually don't find in typically tourist restaurants.
