Clean rooms but ours smelled from previous smokers.. Good view over the harbour but the downfall of this property was the terrible (and over-priced) food. Better to eat elsewhere, there are plenty of nearby restaurants that offer better value. There is a shortage of good accommodation in this town so the owners can get away with providing a second rate product.
It's a casino. It is clean, not smokey, with a nice selection of games. Make sure you get a players card because you can't do anything without it. Oh, and all players must pay a cover charge to get it.
Certainly the nicest rooms of any hotel I stayed at in Punta Arenas. Higher floors have great views of town or ocean. Really fun to go to bar on top floor, have a drink and watch the sunset, Spectacular view. Go to bar even if not at hotel. Food was good for breakfast and pre-cruise group meal.
Went there to waste a little time before a flight after buying a $3200 peso ticket you had to get a card to play which requires a passport copy. None of this seemed to be listed anywhere.
We had 2 adjoining rooms with huge beds and great view. Stayed 2 nights, all as expected. We did not visit the casino but used this as a hotel base to explore Punta Arenas, good parking and very comfortable.
I have been several times there, and never got bored. They have good concert nights every week and you get entertained with quality shows and the set-up has nothing to envy to the ones in the capital Santiago.
