Main street leading to the harbor to take a boat direction Isla del Sol.

Stuffed with all types of restaurants, souvenir shops and cafes. You can‘t avoid this street when your in Copacabana as you need to eat & need the boat, but its nothing special!

Locals selling everything from souveniers, alpaca sweaters and hats, restaurants, street food and bars line this street heading from the lake up to center of town. We found it fun to walk up and down looking for bargains and good places to eat. There were many different ones to choose from including ones that had local Bolivian dishes to pizza places.

Walking on this street is the most harassing experience you will encounter in the town. Go up further and visit the markets and cathedral. The town is not a place to hang up for more than a day, most restaurants are too dirty to eat in and the beach is a mess, lot of garbage that has been left behind by locals that come here for the weekend. I walked along the beach on a weekend and it was most Bolivians and they are dirty, leaving behind their trash. I noticed this throughout Bolivia.

This ave is located in between the cathedral and the plaza and takes you straight to the lake. What are you looking for, Souvenirs, lunch, dinner, coffee, drinks? Maybe the bus out of Capo or the cheapest tours in the city. All of it is here and more. Look for the giant white anchor and head toward that. At the end is the lake with more beautiful restaurants and a great place to watch the sunset. !!

Leading from the beach front to the cathedral, this is the main drag for Copacabana. You'll find it lined with travel agencies, restaurants, bars and souvenir shops, as well as some hostels. Nothing of particular interest, but you'll find it easy to book your onward travel and to get something very western to eat.
