I stayed in a hotel on the hill and was given rough directions on how to get up the hill via the rear. Some of it is difficult as you have to find your own path but the views were spectacular. I did it alone, probably not the best idea as anything could have happened and no one would have found me as it wasn't on the tourist path. I did come down the tourist path and quite frankly was so pleased I had gone up a different way. The main path was a bit safe/boring.

Whichever way you choose to go its well worth all the huffing and puffing once you reach the top!!!

Horca del Inca...a little place up the hill lol!!! is fantastic for silence..views and the WOW factor. Bring lots of water as you can relax up on the volcanic rocks and the special stones for hours..undisturbed...as many people do not go there. Maybe the climb is too severe? But it IS worth the effort. fantastic. And..have your 10 Bolivianos ready as the 'man' will jump out from the rocks to ensure you have a ticket. A great view of Copacabana from the top.

A simple walk uphill. There was a sign for paying 10 Bol to pass - but there was nobody so we just passed without paying. We had a great view.

The site is located on a rocky hill. From near the end of Murillo, a signposted trail leads uphill to the site. Make sure to bring lot's of water and comfortable shoes as the path is steep and rough. As we started walking, a little girl asked us to pay 5 bolivianos and gave us a ticket to go up. Once you get up there, all the effort is payed with breathtaking views of the lake and Copacabana. We hightly recommend it!
