I use this park most often for bike riding on the multi-use trail that parallels the Huron River. It connects to other parks and bike trails at both ends so you can string together a several-mile ride/run/walk. There are playgrounds with equipment/structures for kids scattered along the way. There's a livery to rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boats.

This is a great public park on the Huron River. There are walking paths, rental canoes and paddle boats, and lovely picnic and cookout areas.

We visited Gallup Park today and enjoyed a lovely early morning stroll. The park is large and most of the path follows the water. There are several modern well kept play areas for children throughout the park as well as rest rooms, a butterfly garden, and A kayak, paddle boat, and canoe rental. There are many species of birds here, as well as fishing. The park is very quiet and peaceful. This was a highly enjoyable experience. The only downside is that the pavement is older so it is cracked and uneven in places.

A wonderful park along the Huron River in Ann Arbor, near Huron High School. Gallup pond is a wide section of the Huron River. Has places to picnic, canoe rentals, bike paths, etc. Also near the Huron Hills golf course.

This park is particularly great because it caters to everyone, whether those who want to walk far and have a picnic, or walk along a deep nature trail, or maybe just cruise in for a short while and let your eyes rest on the river flowing by. Great romantic space for couples, as well as somewhere to find a diversity of wildlife and birds.
