My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights in this attractive well maintained hotel . Room in garden overlooked restaurant which was not a problem .Not much space in rooms and small wardrobe ,few drawers .As we had been travelling for several weeks had more baggage than usual .Bathroom adequate but lacked electric connection for hair dryer and only mirror in room was there!Cleanliness and maintenance of all areas excellent.Staff charming and most helpful. Breakfast buffet good and well supplied throughout the service .Dinner available but dining room seemed quiet duri ng our stay and we ate very well elsewhere ,particularly at Manda da Laos in spectacular lotus blossom lakeside setting ,very close to hotel ,5 minutes walk away.Well recommended but must reserve ahead .Swimming pool fairly small and not sufficient sun loungers for the number of guests. We would like to have relaxed there after a busy ,tiring day sightseeing in the heat and as the bedroom had no chairs to sit on except outside on our balcony .These are minor issues but if acted upon could make this a perfect
hotel. All in all can recommend Villa Marly for a happy stay in Luan Pradang

Great location in a small side street off the main road. Easy walk to several temples and the night market but also they have bicycles they loan out free of charge. Nice pool and gardens. Great breakfast. Comfy and well equipped rooms, although ours on the ground floor was a little dark. Liked the use of refillable containers as they used quality shampoo etc. - much better than the cheap plastic bottles many hotels offer and far better for the environment.

I stayed two nights in this very pleasant, small hotel in a great location for exploring Luang Prabang, the staff are courteous and most helpful and the food and service was excellent as well.
My room had all the amenities and facilities you would wish.
I would definitely stay here again.

Villa Maly was great for our family (2 kids - 2 years 9 months and 9 months). The staff was very helpful in arranging tuk tuk rides which was our kids favorite activity. The rooms were clean and spacious, but ours became quite crowded with a crib and roll-away. It’s not right in the center of town but close enough that you can easily walk or rent one of the hotel provided bikes.

Good small boutique hotel once the home of local royalty, set in well maintained gardens. The staff were all helpful and knowledgable, the rooms were well furnished and of reasonable size. The hotels location was central for most of the sights and markets. Breakfast was lacking in choice but was of a reasonable standard.
