Stayed at edis view room
A bit lost finding it ! Eddie was not too happy we where late !!!
He welcomed us finally and sat us down to explain all rules and regulations , nice room ( small ) but clean very comfy bed and bathroom, well situated , away from noise of old city !!!
Eddie needs to make a plan for finding his place !
Enjoyed our stay !
Towels a bit smelly as they cannot dry them properly !
Can recommend this property, clean and well situated !

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We checked in and have moldy towels that are rough and dirty. Our room is disgusting and Eddie is so rude. He told me he is not my slave and can't just be available to help a friend who is older and needed help carrying her bag up the 4 flights of stairs. There is scant hot water and it's just not a comfortable place to stay. For the money I am sure there are nicer places or I recommend spending slightly more for a nicer and cleaner accommodation. I have never been yelled at by someone whom I paid for a room before. I actually don't want to go back and considered forfeiting my payment but will stick it out and be glad to be gone. It ruined my time in Dubrovnik.

This is a perfect little Hotel/B&B, perfect location, perfect staff, perfect value ! I will recommend this to everyone. Just remember to book early because it is small and only 7 rooms. Edie's is absolutely the best for giving advice and suggestions. I even had a conflict during my stays and Edi worked extra hard to cover me and make sure I was well taken care of. :)

Room tip: Book early, but room 6 is the best view (but very small).

We arrived 30 min late in the evening and were told by a man who presented himself as the owner (probably Eddie) to put our bags in the lobby and come back after one and a half hour when we would be allowed to enter our room. As this did not fit into our plans for the evening we asked if he could let us into our room as he was there and it would not take more than a minute to open the door for us. Eddie told us that this normally would not create any problem but in our case we had failed to ask him about his health and said how sorry we were for being late (!) so because of this he would not let us into our room. We were of course astonished to be received in this Basil Fawlty manner but our arguments that we had prepaid our rooms and was to meet friends in town at the time Eddie would allow us into our room were to no avail. As Eddie became more and more upset by our discussion the situation became very unpleasant for us. We therefore picked up our bags and left the hotel. To our astonishment Eddie followed us out into the nearby main street where he said that we would be allowed to enter our room if we said that we were sorry for our behavior (!). After we declined this he hurled insults after us by repeatedly crying out in the street "you and your wife are bad people" and that we were never to come back to his hotel! This was absolutely the worst hotel experience that me and my wife ever had and do not recommend anyone to go to this hotel!

We originally booked for 2 nights, but after the first night and the great list of activity and sight recommendations from Edi, we booked in for an additional 2 nights and we were both glad we did! On arrival Edi provided us with a great orientation of Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas.
The room was immaculately presented, one of the nicest rooms we stayed in during our time in Europe!
The location couldn't have been better, just outside the busy old town, with excellent access to the local buses.
Thank you Edi for a great stay in Dubrovnik!!
