This really is the place to be for a meal, drink or coffee. Even with the waning crowds in November, it was great people watching. And the atmosphere is second to none. The Placa is the place to start in the Old City.

Great shopping street. Visit some of the old buildings, very ornate.
Visit the old castle at the end of the street, great views of the sea and surrounding area.

Placa Thorouthfare in Old Town Dubrovnik is one of the main streets. It ends at the bell tower near Rectors palace and the Bell Tower.

Beautiful place to ramble lots of little side streets for detours. Quaint shops and plenty of souvenir shops. Sit at one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants or simply have an ice cream walk and take in the views

From the moment you walk through the gate you will be astounded by the beauty of the street with many alleys leading to many restaurants and bars and shops and churches and museums and of coarse the harbour.
