“A very relaxing holiday in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 13 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Situated in a lovely bay, the apartment is at the end of the beach so little passing footfall. It has a great balcony off the kitchen to eat, drink and admire the amazing sea view. The figs can be picked off he tree for breakfast (August).
The hosts are very welcoming and on hand to offer help if required.
The 'village' has limited amenities (a couple of restaurants/small shop) but a lovely boat ride takes you to Cavtat (20 mins) where there is a small supermarket and great choice of restaurants. Book this via the lady at the hotel (children price discounted on request).
Recommended trips to Lokrum and Dubrovnik (evening to avoid crowds) can be taken from the Plat seafront. Boats can also be hired daily at a good rate.

Be prepared to do very little and just enjoy the opportunity to relax and soak up the sea and sun. we would definitely recommend this apartment and location as it has been a wonderful holiday. We hope to return.

“What a hidden treasure”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

I booked to go here with two friends, having seen the house whilst staying in a nearby hotel. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived by walking across the beach and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome food and drink left in the kitchen. The location is ideal, right on the sea with a private jetty with sunbeds and parasol. You wake to the sound of the sea. The balcony has a fig tree next to it, and the mill steam running beside and under the apartment keeps it cool even in July. The rooms are simple but comfortable, as is the kitchen. A short walk along the beach takes you to Hotel Plat and up the hill to a few good restaurants. Its not easy access, so not suitable for pushchairs or those with mobility problems. It's all about the location! Quiet, beautiful and relaxing.
