Stayed here for two nights, for a combination of work and pleasure, and enjoyed it. I had a room on the first floor which was spacious, including the bathroom, and slept well apart from the last morning, I had left the window open and there was plenty of people just outside quite early. Otherwise I liked the room very much, although I did not spend much time awake there.
Service at the reception and in the bar was smooth and efficient, when I locked myself out of my room it was sorted immediately. Breakfast was very good. I also liked the bar, with nice seating areas both inside and outside. The pool looked nice, but I didn't test it. Had a late lunch or early dinner the last afternoon, high quality food compared to the more modest restaurants we tended to find in the old city.
It is about a 15-20 minutes walk to the old city from the hotel. Not the finest of strolls, but certainly within reachable distance for most. The old city itself is obligatory when in Dubrovnik, a lot of charm, shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
I don't know about the price since I traveled with work, but this hotel certainly looks like a good choice to me.More
