“Great Holiday!”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Just back from a family holiday in Croatia where we stayed in Apt. Robbie, Lapad. Firstly, have to say that Aldin from the management company looked after us extremely well and was there to answer any questions we had from the time we booked to the day we left, so thank you to him! The apartment was in an ideal spot for seeing the area. Near the beach, bars and restaurants of Lapad and only a short bus ride to the old city. Also a lot cheaper to eat/drink in Lapad then the old city. The apartment itself was great, pictures on website are spot on, plenty of room (there were 6 adults in our group). Modern, clean and well equipped and of course with a fantastic view of the bay from the balcony. Also quiet at night with none of the sounds from the main area reaching you. The wonderful view does come at a price though.. 230 steps from top to bottom- we counted them! Hard to navigate in the heat...especially for some of us 50 somethings in the group! However this would NOT deter us from recommending Apt Robbie or renting it again to visit this beautifully stunning country (maybe next time we'll hire a car for the climb).....

“Would definitely recommend”
Reviewed 12 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The View says it all! Lovely apartment with fantastic view in a great location. Ideal for visiting Dubrovnik old town just a short bus ride away. We were so glad we stayed in this beautiful quieter part with some good restaurants and bars. Hotel Kompas was our favourite for food and "More Cave Bar" and "On the Rocks" were fabulous for cocktails. I would definitely recommend this apartment as long as you don't mind steps (we found walking up and down the steps to the "strip", supermarket, etc justified all the eating and drinking but it was hard, although you can cheat a bit and use hotel Kompas lift. We ate in a really good mexican in Dubrovnik old town and went up the cable car just as it was getting dark for a brilliant view. Also, visit Lokrum by boat from old town for a lovely chilled out day. Aldin was very nice and helpful too, and arranged pickup from airport etc.

We stayed in this nice flat in August. The location is convenient- 5 min to the nearest beach. It is about 15 min drive from the old town in Dubrovnik,so you need to rent a car but you can take the bus as well. Fabulous views from the balcony, comfortable beds, all necessary appliance available in the apartment. No WiFi,but you can buy a prepaid Sim card . Lovely welcome from Robbie and Aldin. Thank you very much.

“Faboulous location, hosts and facilities”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Apartment is very spacious, clean and complete with everything you need.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a location where you can combine a beach holiday with cultural experiences. Old Town of Dubrovnik only 10 mins away on local buses and beach 5 mins away on foot.
Aldin and Anna helped with every detail, pre and during our stay - thanks both it was amazing.

“A quiet retreat”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This was the quietest (soundproofed) apartment we have ever stayed in. During the whole fortnight we never heard the neighbours, we only new they were there when we saw them on the balconies. It is also spacious and well equipped. Aldin and Anna were very welcoming and helpful. The location is superb, away from the main crowds but not for anyone who finds steps difficult. Situated high it has a wonderful view of the bay. There are a number of picturesque walks around the headlands and into Dubrovnik. The local bus service is good and only costs 14 Kuna to DB but be prepared to be packed like sardines. We hired a car to see more of the beautiful coastline: be sure to drop into the smaller villages where you can find great restaurants in quiet coves and sit and watch the boats gently bobbing up and down on the crystal clear water. We also drove up to Mostar taking an inland route across Bosnia and we cam across a tobacco growing town. Here you can see it being dried in gardens (for personal use I suppose). The 3 Island boat trip was a relaxing day too. All in all a fabulous holiday.
