A bike tour in Split Croatia with Kazo... He was fantastic. He showed us and explained the history of the main city and took us on a beautiful bike tour to an area that we did not know about which was breath taking. In conversation with Kazo, it came up that I was Jewish. He then proceeded to point out the first Jewish Cemetery in Split, an experience that I will not forget. At one point in our bike ride we saw it was going to rain so we stopped off at a little cafe in the mountain. GREAT TOUR
We have had only positive interactions when working with ToursByLocals. We would highly recommended this company and if you’re going on a bike ride ask for Kazo!

We hired Matej through ToursByLocals for the 'Breathtaking Island Hvar' tour. We started in Hvar Town, and then toured the island, with stops at the Napolean fort for a Hvar Town panorama; lavender fields; Vrboska (where he arranged an excellent wine tasting); Jelsa (where we had a delicious lunch on the waterfront at Artichoke); and then Stari Grad. Matej's great knowledge of the island, its culture and history, as well as his enthusiasm in sharing all of this with us made for an absolutely wonderful day. Highly recommended!

Vjeran took us to many locations where the large buses could not go. He was extremely personable and not only asked about our interests and background but shared information about his family. Vjeran is an exceptional guide and I would recommend him over and over again to anyone with a desire to receive a high level of service from a guide. What an excellent visit to Split Croatia!!!! Thanks Vjeran!!!

We went on a Game of Thrones tour with Milos. He was very friendly and informative about GOT and Croatian history generally. Very interesting. Lovely man. We would definitely book again.

We spent a full day with Dino I on April 1,2018 I touring Diocletian's Palace, the city of Split and outside sites of Salonna (Roman ruins) and Trogir (lovely Venetian, Gothic town). He was one of the most educated, articulate (especially in archaeology) and comprehensive guides we have ever had. He has a great sense of humor and his personal insights on Croatian history as well as current life were fascinating. No guide could possibly convey more information on the palace and its underground footprint with more interest. We had a great day!
