We had heard that somewhere in Split there was a very good chocolate shop. On the way to our cooking class we asked the chef and he took us here. After sampling several kinds, especially the dark chocolate, we bought several boxes to bring home to our friends. The flavors are very unique and delicious. Compared to France and Belgium, not expensive at all. This is a great gift to bring home if you do not eat it all before you leave.

Nadalina has a long tradition of making spices, and its owner has been known for his chocolate and sweets for years. Few years ago he even broke a Guinness World Record
for biggest piece of chocolate when he made a chocolate bar on Peristyle and anyone and everyone was invited to watch and partake of the chocolate.

Nadalina is located on the way from Peristyle to Grgur Ninski on the right side, or if you're going from Grgur Ninski to Peristyle on the left side.

Our tour guide took us inside to try a sample so we did. The sales woman was extremely nice and put out a dish of chocolate and fig which was to die for. We then asked to try the chocolate with olive oil in it, but she didn't have any open so she gave us the fanciers chocolates to try. Very nice, very sweet of her. We did wind up buying not only for us, but our tour guide too. They have many more types of chocolates, but we chose the fig, olive oil and sea salt. The chocolate is excellent and the staff are too.

Right near the golden gate inside Diocletian’s palace is a wonderful chocolate shop that could change your life. Sample some dark chocolate that will just make you smile and then get ready to part with some kuna - but it is so so worth it! They have some wonderful 5 bar boxes that will make wonderful gifts for your friends back home! Enjoy!

If you walk along the streets of Diocletian's palace (coming from the Peristil), right before the Golden gate, you will find this small and than yet so full store filled with different kinds of chocolate. Dark chocolate, chocolate made with sea salt, rum, olive oil, figs... you name it! Really pleasant lady who works there will greet you with a smile and offer you some free samples and I dare you not to purchase chocolate after trying it! All chocolate is locally made and with affordable prices. Prefect for gifts and sweet treats while you walk along the town. We came here around 9 am and it was not crowded but we were told that during cruise ships days it can be full with tourists.
