I stayed here last night and it was fabulous. It was QUIET and very nicely decorated. Hot water was great after a chicken bus ride! Comfortable beds! The owner arranged an private airport car for us. Great experience!

We stayed here for two nights and immediately felt at home when entering. Gustavo is so wonderful and helped us at every moment— he went out of his way to make sure we were ok. The rooms are clean and the decorations are so whimsical and cute! Perfect to stay short or long term; the breakfast is yummy and the location is close to everything in Antigua. The customer service is excellent and they can recommend places to eat (try Saul!) I really can’t say enough good things about this adorable place!! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again. I’m so happy to have met Gustavo you can tell he takes great care and detail in making his hotel pleasant and comfortable for guests. Clean and great hospitality!

I had a great three-night stay at Hotel y Arte. If you want to be on the "busy" side of Antigua, the location can't be beat--close to all the action, but a few steps off the main thoroughfare. The rooms are comfortable and clean and many decorations evoke the Wizard of Oz. The rooms face a central courtyard that is peaceful and a nice retreat from the city.
Gustavo, the owner, and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful and gracious. They make it easy to arrange transport (a tour company has a desk at the front of the hotel as well) and are happy to offer advice on places to go, see, and eat. Definitely hope to return one day!

Centrally located but relatively tranquil, the hotel was a great base for a week’s exploration of Antigua. The owner and staff were amongst the friendliest we’ve encountered anyway, and quick to respond to any requests. Breakfast was prepared elsewhere but was fresh and flavorful, but get your coffee next door at Buena Vista.

On my recent trip to Antigua, I ended up staying a couple of days in “Hotel y Arte”. I Highly recommend it!
Located in the heart of Antigua, staying in this family owned/runned cozy hotel is an amazing experience; rooms are very comfortable, staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great...at an affordable price. Definitely coming back!
