I try to write mainly positive reviews, but this place has changed ownership and, sadly, it is no longer worth a visit. The service was extremely slow (we were the only ones in the place and it took over an hour to get a quesadilla); the drinks were disappointing; and when I asked for menu items listed as specials on the chalkboard (for example, a crab quesadilla) they said they never have crab and those items aren't something they sell. (But they wrote it on the chalkboard?)
Knowing that the place used to be a treat, friends and I tried the place more than once in Aug and Sept, but each time we've walked away shaking our heads. I just learned that it's been under new ownership, which explains the change in quality. I've heard the new owners are now trying to sell it, so perhaps sometime in 2012 it will be worth another try. For now, when I'm in that part of Antigua I'll stick with Cafe Rainbow, Sabe Rico, El Sitio, and La Pen~a del Sol.
