Stayed one night booked via hotels dot com. Lovely, quirky house a few minutes walk from the center of town. Nice and quiet.
Very homely feel. Lovely balcony. They provide wine glasses, we provided wine and a pleasant early evening was enjoyed.
We had a room with an en suite on the 3rd floor. Small but comfortable enough. No elevators and steep stars so not for those with mobility issues.
The big issue was the air-con unit. It was a muggy night and the air con was a necessity. Unfortunately it seems to need a good service. The unit kept stopping and starting and when it started made a burbling sound. I suspect it needs a top up on fluid or similar. This was very disruptive to a good night’s sleep. The shower unit was ‘compact’ to say the least. I just fitted and I’m not huge. Any more nights in the room would have been a challenge.
Breakfast was freshly made pastries, fruits, yogurt and cereals. Very relaxed.
I’d have given 5* except for the air con issue which almost made me drop it to 3*.
