This B and B is a gem! We found the innkeeper, Carolyn to be so friendly and helpful, and a great cook I might add!
Breakfast was absolutely delicious! From the homemade granola to the fresh berries and magnificent scones, we felt pampered and we loved every minute.
The beds are comfy, the location quiet, central and terrific, and I just know we’ll stay there again when on the island! Great great little centrally located beautiful spot!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Martin House. She was very welcoming and helpful, without being overburdensome. The location is great as it's walking distance to all the shopping, restaurants, and shuttles, but not right downtown so you hear all the noise. Breakfast was perfect - fresh, healthy and good options, and the Sherry, Port, or Bourbon nightcaps available were a great touch. Rooms are very well done, very comfortable and very clean, and the price was reasonable. Would def stay again. Thanks for making it such a nice visit

Staying at the Martin House Inn is an amazing experience from start to finish.

Carolyn greeted us and checked us into our rooms (always prompt and helpful!)
Super clean, cute and quaint - very Nantucket vibes - loved it :)
Fresh towels, robes, all the works!

Location is PRIME!! Quick walk right into town, you really can't beat it.

Woke up to fresh baked goods (so good!) every morning from Carolyn along with hot coffee, teas, etc -- such a nice treat. Really felt like I was a guest in a home and was treated SO well. She is so kind and generous. Does such a great job!

Thank you Martin House Inn - Will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Loved all the rooms!

We came here on Memorial Day Weekend and we cannot say enough good things about the Martin House Inn and Innkeeper, Carolyn. The Inn is only a 5 minute walk from the historic town where highlights such as the Whaling Museum, Straight Wharf, and Cru are, but also is situated on a quiet, charming street with no foot traffic and/or tourists. We thought it was the best of both world, allowing the town to be walkable and charming at the same time. For being built over 200 years ago, the Inn is in great shape and well kept. The beds are comfy and the service is great. As an added bonus, there is a beautiful deck at the top where you can observe sunsets and sunrises overlooking Brant Point. There are parts of the Inn that are built with parts of 18th Century whaling ships which we thought was pretty cool as well. The recently done backyard is very impressive with a beautiful lawn (able to layout) as well as a fireplace with tables and chairs which makes for a great happy hour or breakfast setting.

Lastly, the Innkeeper Carolyn is first class. She is also a heck of a baker ... her bacon scallion scones and cranberry granola breakfast treats were the highlight of the weekend. She’s very accommodating, understanding and fun. Carolyn provided us with great recommendations, from beaches to see to restaurants to dine at that we’re on and off the beaten path. As a year round resident, she knows the must sees while you’re there for the weekend.

We will be staying at the Inn during our next visit. Highly recommend!
