This was our first experience at Ripken Stadium and it did not disappoint! We were there as a group with my son's travel baseball team so we all got to sit together. The facilities were clean and the food options were good. The beer was nice and cold! Looking forward to visiting again if we are ever back up in the Aberdeen area.

I love Camden Yards but too often the bad behavior of a few fans ruins my time at the park. Ripken Stadium is the home of the Aberdeen Iron Birds minor league team. My hero, “Iron Man”-Cal Ripken Jr. and Billy Ripken designed a stadium with “no bad seats”. The stadium is one field in a “farm” of ball fields dedicated to the growth of baseball by making baseball accessible to all youth. There are summer camps for disadvantaged youth and a youth World Series- literally kids from all over the world converge in Aberdeen.

The tickets to the Iron Bird are affordable. We have partial season tickets 5 games $50 dollars each person. The food is good and affordable. There is a kids area with bouncy houses and cool kids stuff as well. The focus of this stadium is fun- good clean fun. Alcohol is available but you will have to get it yourself- no disruptions from vendors in the stands. Fireworks after some of the games. The are handicapped accessible seats( must request at time of purchase). Kids can run the bases after certain games. There is lots of access to the players during special events. Come out and see baseball as it was meant to be.

The stadium has the nicest seat escorts that keep the fun clean in the stands. They get a warning and then they are asked to leave. No shenanigans in these stand. Captain Fun entertains during each change of inning with many fan participation games. Come to special games as they celebrate the home of the Star Spangled Banner. Great fun, crab feast events, reasonably priced fun and great baseball. I would expect nothing less from Cal and the Ripken family!

I brought my family for a minor league game on Father’s Day. The tickets were attractively priced, and we had no problem getting 6 seats together just an hour or two before game time. The park is clean, and there’s always something going on to keep younger kids entertained between innings. My 4 year old grandson was especially excited about the slide, and my 8 year old granddaughter loved the bounce house. We had just come from a big lunch, so I can’t speak to the quality of the food, but it certainly looked and smelled appetizing.

I've been going to Aberdeen Ironbirds baseball games for several years now. Ripken Stadium is a great place to watch a game. The staff is friendly; the concessions are good; and the sight lines are pretty much okay. As with most minor league ballparks, entertainment is key; and the "Flight Crew" does a good job with entertaining the fans in between innings with games, songs, and other activities.

Superb minor league ballpark started by Cal Ripken Jr. They have numerous family events at the park. Multiple fireworks nights, military appreciation night, crab night, etc. Occasionally Cal Ripken shows up as well. Beautiful park. Well maintained. Easy parking and low ticket prices.
