The tour is self-guided and the signage was very good at pointing you to the next stop.
The buildings are numbered for this purpose. The Tabasco staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds, museums and restrooms were very clean. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

I love Tabasco!

While in New Orleans, we had a rental car so decided to make the 2 hour drive to visit the Tabasco Factory and the Jungle Gardens. Both were great! When you get to the factory, they let you buy a bundled ticket to do the Factory tour as well as the Jungle Garden tour (which I recommend).

The Tabasco tour is a self guided tour. It is super easy to follow and very interesting. It is a beautiful area and was very interesting to see. There is a ton of history on Avery Island. After the tour, they have a gift shop where you can taste test some of their different products.

It was a nice way to get out of New Orleans for the day and explore some other parts of the area.

Went out on a limb and took my husband on the tour before we headed to Wrestlemania in New Orleans. This place is so interesting, and so unique. We are planning a return visit with more family because we had so much fun. The shop is a little pricey, but free samples go a long way and so much knowledge along the way makes the tour so fun.

The facility has a factory tour that introduces you to the pepper plant and all the steps that occur to transition a growing plant to the Tabasco sauce you use on your food. There is a also a "Jungle Garden" with the famous "bird city" at the same location. Plus a gift shop and cafeteria with every type of Tabasco sauce available to try.

Nice area to visit for a quick self guided tour in your travels. The store has an area for sampling any one of all of their products and there is a restaurant onsite if you have room after the sampling. We enjoyed it all.
