I stayed at the Marriott in Panama where the Corvina y Cana is located. My package included breakfast so everyday I had breakfast at this restaurant. There is a waitress named Krishell Munoz who made it her business to addressed everyone with a smile and a good morning. But what made her special was that she made you feel at home because she addressed everyone by their name. Her customer service manners are outstanding.

Really nice hotel lobby bar at the Marriott. Live entertainment regularly on weeknights. Upscale, also serves pretty good food.

The food... oh my the food.
My husband had a glazed pork that he said was the best pork he has ever eaten. I had a rum glazed chicken. both served with vegetables. BUT... oh yes BUT before you even order they bring you the most amazing FREE apps. We had prosciutto w/ bread and a bread thing with two dips. I cannot tell you how good they were. The pics are attached.
The staff here is amazing. At night they have live music and it is really enjoyable as well as good. Very talented people play there!
And lastly - cappuccino... you must with amaretto! I miss it so... I wish I was there just thinking of how good this place was.
Try it. you won't regret it!

(you can get anything here - seafood, American dishes, pork, chicken, anything!)

We had a week day lunch with a friend from out of town. Very enjoyable.

A 3 course menu with 3 options for each course for $16.50 pp. Enjoyed the smoked salmon to start followed by a very tasty steak. Recommend the key lime pie to finish.

Service was good and friendly, although the first course took a while to arrive given it was a workday lunch. The rest followed appropriately.

Nice ambience- enter via the Marriott Lobby.

Well recommended.

This is a modern but very comfortable, amazing multi-use space for just about anybody. Quaint private booths, open tables, traditional bar seating, comfy sofa seating areas, long tables with outlets, candle-lit corner lounge areas...what is not here??! Adolfo is an amazing bartender who is well-educated on all sorts of liquors from all over the world. Ask him anything and challenge him to mix something new just for you....he delivers and with a smile to boot. He made the most delicious jalapeño margarita that I have ever had! He also schooled my husband on the distinguishable differences of South American rums by region. He is jovial and upbeat. What a great guy. The music is there but no so loud that you can't chat. Prices are very reasonable here as well, especially for a hotel. Beer from $3.50 up. Cocktails $6-10. Try the super crispy French fries or the yucca....delish. Don't skip the ceviche....FANTASTIC and fresh. Portion a littttttle small for the price but don't let that stop you. The flavors are there and remember, this is a hotel bar. I love this place. You feel like your friends are here. Adolfo alone adds a star to this rating!!!!!
