Had lunch in this place by coincidence. We were happily surprised by the modern features of the offering: fresh produce, original combinations, also for veggies (unusual in Uruiguay!), personalised service and decent wine list.

Recommended by a colleague, we went to eat at Manzanar and were completely blown away by the experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left, we were treated to a delightful experience. It's hard to see how the food or the service could have been better.

Greeted by a team of attentive and smiling waiting staff, we ordered and enjoyed the sight of the kitchen staff working all around us. There are teams of people here who clearly work hard and who love their jobs.

The food on the menu is varied and is surprisingly very good value for money, especially considering the very high quality and effort that has clearly gone into the preparation. We shared an asparagus and ham salad that was fresh and light and had a subtle but tangy citric dressing. Afterwards, the fish of the day (corvina - sea bass) that was served with green sauce and accompanied with a delicate, crunchy basmati rice cooked with broccoli and sesame seeds. My wife had the white fish tartar and we shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. For dessert, we had the strawberry tart served with ice cream and an amazingly delicious chocolate mousse served with peach ice cream and peaches.

We left already thinking when we were going to return. Probably the best gastronomic experience in the city we've had so far.

Nice place set up in the former Manzanares building ... extremely hot , no air conditioning which makes the place a bit uncomfortable. Good service, gourmet food, small portions. We shares different starters , all of them tasty but extremely salty. French fries served with salt on it...called my attention the saltiness in all dishes. Tasty chipirones, fish, grilled vegetables but as said salty... a bit expensive considering quality- portion size.

The atmoshpere is very nice. A bit too loud at times if the place is crowded.
The menu is not very deep but the dishes are very good.
Have to try the milanesa and the green pizza with egg in it. Awesome !!!!
