“Honeymoon in Sacred Valley”

This property was PERFECT for mine and my wife's honeymoon! The scenery all around is spectacular, from the backyard garden to the mountains in the near distance. The housekeeper made us simple yet wonderful breakfasts and lunches/dinners on request. The property was clean and the amenities were great. The owner of the property helped to set us up with a travel agent for the area for us to do Machu Picchu and other Sacred Valley excursions and archaeological sites, as well as helping us set up with a taxi driver, who drove my wife and I out to dinner several nights in nearby Urubamba. We cannot recommend this place enough!

“Slice of heaven in the Sacred Valley!”
Reviewed 4 December 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This review is for the amazing Home in Sillacancha. My cousin and I stayed here for one whole month with my 2 children (3 and 1). First off, Dirk is amazing and was so helpful both before and during with my many questions - overseas travel for a month with babies leads to many questions lol. When my son got a bad ear infection, Dirk reached out to friends to get doctor recommendations. The home even had toys and books (various languages) which was such an added bonus. The beds are large and very comfortable, and the home is beyond beautiful - better than pictured even. The area is a short 10 min drive to Urubamba with the many restaurants and large local market to buy fresh meat and vegetables for cooking at home in the fun wood fire oven. We visited all over the Sacred Valley (we had a rental car) and loved coming home to this amazing house. There is cleaning service regularly, and Maria was so helpful for other random questions we had about life in the Sacred Valley. I hope to return to this Home again one day!

“Awesome house, great for families”
Reviewed 23 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We stayed 4 nights at Dirk’s villa in the Sacred Valley. The house is amazing, with 3 large bedrooms all with ensuite, enormous kitchen and dining, solar heated swimming pool, grassy back yard to kick the football, and stunning views of the mountains behind. It is big enough for a large family or even a couple of families. Located 15mins from Urubamba it’s a perfect location to base yourself while exploring the sites of the Sacred Valley by car, including Machu Picchu. Dirk is very communicative and always willing to help with any issues or questions. His property manager Maria is also very friendly and helpful and can arrange tours, driver, and anything else you need. Be sure to ask about Dirk’s other properties in Cusco - in particular the villa Siminti in central Cusco is also a fantastic place to stay and very reasonably priced.

“Lovely, peaceful stay in gorgeous home near Urubamba/Sacred Valley”
Reviewed 7 September 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We were looking for a restful, beautiful home in the Sacred Valley and Dirk's rental home was perfect. The 2-story home is architecturally beautiful with natural stone, beautiful woodwork, spacious high ceilings, huge windows, and top quality appliances/fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms. The wifi worked flawlessly and helpful electrical outlets were everywhere. The views into the yard and garden kept up by housekeeper, Maria, was lovely to view in the mornings and evenings. Maria kept the place spotless and was available for hire to cook a delicious meal on our arrival.
DIrk was very helpful and responsive, connecting us with his wife's travel agency. We relied heavily on Alex (travel agency) and his associates for transportation and tours, sometimes, with little or no notice, and always received prompt service and responses.
We (parents and adult son) were enchanted with the place and could not have been more satisfied! Highly recommend!!
