We arrived at Pisac Market in the morning as any people were still setting up. Vendors offered many alpaca and "alpaca" goods, along with pottery, t-shirts, and jewelry, and various tchotchkes to bring home to your loved ones from Peru. The market is surrounded by stores as well, where we stepped in and were given a lesson about silver and stone work, with workers demonstrating the craft, which was pretty nifty. We wandered the market for some time, looking over the various items and never felt pressure to buy. You may bargain the items down by about 20%, and if you buy an item over 150 soles, generally you will be offered a little key chain or magnet as a thank you.

We stopped off here but only stayed about half an hour. All the markets are very similar selling the same kinda stuff but it’s a nice place to wander around anyway.
Bought a painted wooden plate from a lovely lady sitting painting them at her stall, lovely to see some craftsmanship in amongst some of the tat!

This market has quite a lot of Peruvian goodies to bring home - it is almost overwhelming! We only bought something small here because we were just a day into our visit and I wasn’t quite ready to buy. Probably would be better if visited after being in Sacred Valley for a day or so. Definitely is a place to negotiate.

A large market with lots of vendors selling the same items but not real high pressure sales here. Great place to buy silver in this area. They have people with tiny baby goats that you can take pictures with. Give them 2 soles so you can take a picture. Also, has some food places with Peruvian food. It was a really nice market. Also clean.

As part of our tour in Sacred Valley we wandered around the market for about an hour. Wonderful experience with so much on offer. Wish I'd had space to take more home and the money available to spend but even without spending much we had a really nice time.
