Description: La Bodega Verde is the ideal setting to grab a snack, enjoy a light lunch, use your computer, study, read a book or hang out with friends. It offers a very large variety of teas and infusions, organic coffee, bruschettas, quiches, salads, sandwiches, more substantial dishes, desserts and juices in a very reasonable price range.

We had a light vegetarian lunch and a delicious dessert shaped like a pyramid with the local fruit of lucuma. It was certainly more impressive than the two-room art museum located at the same site.

This beautiful cafe is just off the square with the yellow church. Sit in the garden among flowers and shady trees. Very friendly staff and an English menu. Excellent coffee and very good home made lemonade. Delicioso food - we had risotto and mushroom cerviche, followed by gluten free chocolate cake. All very tasty indeed and reasonably priced. Lots of vegetarian options. Great for lunch or a snack. A really really lovely place - try it!

We happened upon La Bodega Verde while wandering around Barranco, frustrated with no having found a restaurant that didn't seem touristy and overrated. The understated entrance was also somehow enticing, luring us in with a music-filled garden softly lit was string lights and scented with the smell of freshly bloomed flowers. It had a very laid back vibe with good music and fresh, delicious food. While I had originally been craving seafood, I was very pleased with my order of champipapas and one of their fresh, creative salads. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband had the smoked salmon sandwich on fresh bread and loved it! We would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, somewhat subtly chic place to relax, have some delicious fresh food, and get away from the hustle and bustle of busy Barranco, Lima streets. We can't wait to come back next time we visit Lima!

Great peaceful place for coffee, tea, and soup and sandwiches. They have a few good salads as well. Nice little tables in a walled garden area above the tourist bridge (puente de suspiros). Hippie atmosphere with plenty of capitalistic cash (not cheap).

Tasty, healthy food and good juices; nice garden and small indoor section; helpful staff. Quite casual, with some people coming with friends while others appeared to be alone and working. Relaxed vibe.
