Dedalo was across the street from our hotel, convenient as we wanted to visit based on reviews of the shop. Having finished our Sacred Valley tour & not wanting to carry stuff in our backpacks, this was one of our last stops before flying home. Thankfully, reviews were right! Lots of interesting pieces, a huge range of styles & price points. Everything we looked at was made in Peru, with many pieces handcrafted - exactly what we were looking for! Definitely worth a visit but give yourself lots of time. So much to look at we went through the whole place 3 times!

Dedalo is one of the gems of Lima -- a welcoming store on a beautiful street in Barranco, showcasing truly unique works of art. There are different rooms where you can browse handicrafts, paintings, sculptures, and clothing representing different traditions of Peru. Staff is very helpful and friendly. In the back next to the books section, you can also enjoy coffee or pastries in a tree-lined courtyard. This is a place to linger.

Visited this spot on our last day in Lima and Peru. Beautiful arts and crafts including art work, woven goods, toys, apparel, jewelry and more. We spent hours here and all came home with beautiful gifts for ourselves and others. An entire room of jewelry from many different artists. Staff were great with the exception of the cranky woman in jewelry that made us feel like we were bothering her by buying jewelry.

This market was fun and hip. We found some really cool nerdy t-shirts. Everyone was friendly and nice.

I have been living in Barranco for 2 months before I made it here. It is quite unassuming on the outside but inside is a treasure trove. There’s even a small cafe in the back with such great atmosphere. I definitely recommend for an afternoon of browsing and coffee.
