Food taking forever to turn up.
one meal didn't turn up after 45mins wait.
Food was tasteless.
By the afternoon a few of us had upset stomachs.

not sure how this business is still around if they can't keep up the demand on a simple lunch rush.

I ate a late lunch here, and was impressed with the selections they had for an affordable and small eatery. Their menu selection was more varied than other similar places. It is true that the service is slow, and I had to remind them of my drink (totally forgotten), but that's what wifi is for! I also think that's the pace of the town that I liked. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to eat what locals eat.

Me and a friend had an hour to kill and we were both hungry, so we stopped in a cafe to get some food and figure out what we'd do that day. 30 minutes later our order (pancakes & hot chocolate) still hadn't come and we were getting seriously worried that we'd miss the check out time for our hostel across the street. In that time we still hadn't been able to connect to the internet and I was feeling bad for the backpackers who had seen us eating and had decided to enter.

When my chocolate pancake finally arrived it tasted like someone had thought really hard about the abstract concept of chocolate while they lazily made a crepe.

10 minutes later the hot chocolate came out. After I spent a good wile pulling mystery gunk out of my drink and after I added more sugar than I'm proud to admit I finally gave up and asked for the bill. In the end we had to take our money directly to our waiter so as not to miss our check out time.

The food and drink was not great and definitely not worth the wait.

After ordering our food we found that we may have made a mistake. The realization hit us when our food hadn't arrived until 40 minutes after we ordered pancakes. My friend ordered chocolate pancakes that tasted like someone thought about chocolate when making the pancakes. We ordered our hot chocolates at the same time as the pancakes and the hot chocolate came out 15 minutes after the pancakes. The hot chocolate tasted like cocoa beans that were still within the roasting phase and therefore unfinished. Furthermore the hot chocolates had a film of milk accumulated on the top which if picked up with a spoon would be solid.

Was quite impressed with this small restaurant. Terribly slow service to take the order in the first instance, which was solved when I started to walk out. Funny that, but why did I have to wait for 14 minutes just to be acknowledged….. POOR. The main course which I had – steak – was very good indeed, well cooked, well presented and piping hot. So have given a very good because was reasonably priced, just get your service right guys. The salesman outside did his job and got us in, but then you must deliver and deliver quickly.
