Cafe/Bar in Nao Victora Hotel just up a little laneway from plaza de arias, is like stepping into an old castle. came for 2 days ended up staying for a week. cafe has painted walls and nice music all day, good price for tasty food and beer and barman makes killer pisco sours. free live music few nights a week too. owners are super friendly and good conversations too. cant recomend this place enough to people! nicest place iv started during my whole Peru travels. check it out

Newly opened after having a great makeover, this was just the place we needed for a not so touristy place for a relaxing tea/coffee and cake in the centre of Cusco. It's just up a side street off the main square, a stone's throw from the cathedral, yet feels like stepping into a different world. Go through the downstairs of the hotel/hostel and it's up the stairs.
By the time we arrived they only had one sort of cake left - lemon drizzle - but it was great. Met the guy who runs it and the architect who designed the murals. Seems they all hang out here. Enjoy.
