Right where you want on be in Quito. Kind staff, great breakfast, good wifi. All in all wonderfull. Again, there is no better location in Quito for being in the old Unesco area. Great place!

We spent two nights here, and wish it were longer. Located in a colonial house two blocks from the Plaza Grande in the old town, the hotel couldn’t be more convenient.

We secured a room on the ground floor by preference, and it was very comfortably appointed and supremely quiet. The staff are uniformly charming and helpful.

Breakfast was complete and satisfying, with made-to-order egg dishes and tasty bacon, with fruits and coffee of your choice.

We tried dinner there as well. It was truly charming in an old-fashioned way with a gloved waiter and the most personable service.

This boutique hotel is perfectly decorated to provide the feel of its historical importance. The location is excellent, with an abundance of restaurants, museums, parks and churches within walking distance. The staff are professional, friendly and take great pleasure in helping you enjoy your stay in Quito. The morning coffee and breakfast is a delicious treat. Thank you!

Like other reviewers I had difficulty locating the hotel; even after we had moved in and were returning after a walk about the neighborhood the entrance tends to blend in with all the other entrances on the block. But it provides a nice refuge from the hubbub of tourists and Ecuadoreans. The rooms are arranged around a large open forum, decorated with antiques. The hotel was formerly a private residence and radiates a homey atmosphere. Some difficulty getting the hotel staff to answer the door bell.Otherwise a pleasant stay.

This is a historic house converted into a small, beautifully decorated hotel in the hart of Old Quito. It was quiet and it also felt safe. The staff was very friendly, happy to help with advice or anything else we needed. Breakfast was simple but very good in size and quality. Perfect for couples and family. It has nice common rooms for reading, or enjoy coffee or tea. My husband and I were having problems with the altitude when we first arrived and they prepared us a coca tea that made us feel much better. Their coffee was also excellent (all other hotels in Ecuador where we stayed had bad coffee). The hotel does not have elevator.
