I had the lunch special, which was a pasta dish with ginger, 10 Sushi rolls, a dessert and a glass of juice. All very tasty, quickly served and reasonably priced. Maybe not authentically Japanese, but definitely worth a visit.

I ate at the restaurant with my fiance and were welcomed by staff upon entry, however we had no one attend to us for over 10 minutes as we sat waiting to be provided a menu to look over. Only after I left my seat and approaches staff were we provided a menu, with service improving after this.
If you are expecting traditional or Oriental sushi and/or sashimi however, do not eat at Puerto Sushi for its 'Chilean Sushi' take leaves a lot to be desired.
Chicken Teriyaki Avocado rolls would be great if it tasted like it had been marinated in teriyaki sauce and was not stuffed along side sliced capsicum.
The Salmon Avocado rolls would have been edible if it was not overpowered by the enormity of the sliced spring onions it was wrapped with. And the Salmon Hot Rolls, again wrapped along with spring onions would have been palatable if it wasn't deep fried instead of being seared with a torch and drizzled over with an accompanying (volcano) sauce and/or mayonnaise.
Not to mention all Sushi on the menu has Philadelphia Creme Cheese in it, despite there being a separate 'Cream Cheese' menu of items, which is laughable.
Do not recommend.

Good sushi at a reasonable price and with very nice crew! The service is pretty fast for such a little place

Chilean sushi should always be approached with an open mind; never compare it to sushi from the Orient or Occident, nor that of Peru, nor even compare one incarnation of Chilean sushi to another. On its own terms, it can be all right if never quite clicking with the rather obvious availability of good sashimi variations here (which of course, are largely ignored).

The eccentric use of Philadelphia cream cheese is here taken to the extreme, taking up perhaps twenty percent of the rolls with a dominant flavour. One day Chilean sushi makers will discover Kewpie and probably overuse that as well. Wholly perfunctory wasabi paste, which may have seen a wasabi leaf but not the root, is piped out. Dark soy is provided when light might work better. Lots of non-fresh fish. Over-packed, poorly mixed miso. There is better Chilean sushi in the port.

My girl friends and I went to Puerto sushi one night and loved it so much we returned the next. We got a variety of goods - tempura, sushi rolls, sushimi and kitchen food. The dumplings amazing and the sushimi was so fresh it was the best we had ever had. The cost is very competitive as well. The cream cheese is a little overdone in most rolls but the staff are very good at substitutions. The staff was very friendly and the alcoholic mixed drinks were above par. Overall two big thumbs up for this place!!!
