Although on first impression, the hotel does not look very attractive due to the number of people and street vendors close by, it offers great value for money as it is right in the centre of town and within easy reach to public transport. The hotel faces the National Library and it is just steps from Santa Lucia Hill (a must visit). Besides its convenient location, breakfast is quite good- though the service is rather slow- and the rooms are of good size. The concierge and front of house staff are friendly and helpful. There is always a security person at the door.
Our bedroom faced the National Library and had excellent views of the cerro, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was large with a good size en-suite bath/shower with good towels and the usual amenities. Within walking distance of the Cathedral and the Mercado Central, the hotel is an ideal base to explore the city from.More
