The image of Singapore, the Merlion is a wonderful fountain of a half lion half mermaid that shoots water out of its mouth into the bay. This is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions of Singapore as it is the symbol of the city. It’s very easy to get to with tons of restaurants and shops surrounding it. The Merlion always has many visitors no matter the time of day, but go there in the morning to get a nice sunrise photo with the statue! You will get to see all kinds of tourists doing many different poses, and this alone can be entertaining.
Easy to get to from raffles place MRT station (Red or green line) and the Bayfront station (Yellow or Blue) if you wanted to walk around the bay to it! Fun to visit and a great view of the city from all around the Bay Area!
