We stayed here as a family of four (11 and 13 year old) for three nights at the beginning of a longer holiday in Asia. We had two rooms (one king, one twins) with bay side view.
All in all a great experience. Rooms are spacious and luxurious - beds are very comfortable as well. The only thing to say is that we didn’t get connecting rooms. I don’t know if they have them at the hotel, but it is something to consider if your children are a bit younger. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of Western and Asian options. We also had a couple of evening at the famous Lantern rooftop bar. Unfortunately it was partly closed for refurbishment which was a bit annoying but we still had great cocktails with a lovely view of the bay (staff there are really attentive and friendly). The pool is decent size although doesn’t have a huge amount of sun loungers (but we could get them the one afternoon we used the pool).
We had dinner in La Brasserie the evening we arrived. It was absolutely fine, although if I have to point out a weakness in the hotel, this probably would be it. Compared to the rest of the hotel, it is not up there with the best dining experiences I have had.
Overall, would definitely return here - great hotel!
