This hotel is a little tired but well situated in Kowloon, next to metro entry and surrounded by plenty of Hong Kong life in typical narrow and winding streets; bars, eating places, a food stall, relaxing massage businesses, shopping at all prices, malls; busy busy but in your room in the sky you will not be aware of this, cocooned in aircon and if you pay the extra as we did you will have a harbour view. Make sure you go to the "roof garden" for spectacular views, especially at night. The room was a good size but needed redecorating. Bed and pillows very good but yet again a duvet when the temps. mean all you may need is a sheet with the aircon on low. Good separate shower and bath with very good thick towels. Air extractor excellent....no fogging up mirrors. Plenty of wardrobe space with ironing board and a safe. Full length mirrors are good. Room lighting is side lighting. Bright overhead lighting is needed to help when unpacking/packing suitcases but is missing in most hotel rooms sadly. This room has poor bed reading lights, another feature often missing in hotel rooms. Breakfast a pleasant change from European breakfast as it includes Chinese
choice as well as fruit, cereal, coffee etc. Don't be late as they are quick to close by 10.30am.
