Best thing about the rooms are they are huge compared to what you get for your money in HK

Checkin seems like a chore for the front desk
Finally got our room
Paid the 500 HKD deposit

Room is clean and spacious
Small kitchen space
Lighting just ok
Bed is huge down to two singles pushed to together
Curtains are dated but ok
Tv is morning
Seems like a little worn out

Gym is basic
No breakfast or room service more like a serviced apartment
MTR is within walking distance

Front desk is helpful but depends on the mood But can be helpful

You cannot complain for what you pay because it’s very good for the price

Location is ok not exactly central but central’ish if you know what I mean IFC is within walking distance

Stay was good

Oh noise insulation is zero you can hear all the girls having fun when the guests bring them back or a domestic argument going on that was night one, night two no noise

Stayed: February 2018, travelled on business

I am not as lucky as most reviewers that got upgraded to bigger rooms or suite. With the price paid in Expedia, we got the smallest room in the hotel, their advertised walk-in rate didn’t make much difference. Even they checked us in the smallest room but again I have to admit that it’s still considered decent size in HK standard. We love the neighbourhood, lots of dried seafood stuff and Chinese herbs shops along the street. There’re supermarkets, eateries, Starbucks and tram station nearby.

We have stayed at 60 West before and keep returning because it provides large, clean, modern rooms (for HK) at a reasonable price. Nowhere to eat locally but mini mart close and only 5 mins walk to the MTR. Good value for money and being only 3 stations from Admiralty is pretty close to everything. Comparable prices will see you out in the New Territories somewhere.
We like it and will stay again.

Location - between Sai Ying Pun and Shueng Wan. Not that convenient lugging suitcases
There are lots of local Chinese and Cantonese restaurants, and 10-15 mins walk to mid levels/SoHo areas.

Staff @ reception - courteous but could be warmer.
House keeping staff - very friendly and accommodating

Room - we got a free upgrade. So the room was huge.
Beds - comfortable and felt fresh.
Bathroom - clean

Wifi - mostly good and connected, but no moments when signal dropped.

Washer and dryer on level 3, very helpful. But token from reception counter. Free detergent, packed next to washing machine.

Will come back to this.

Great! I got an free upgrade to Executive Suite. Thank you 60 West Hotel. Room is big and clean. Hotel is well located centrally near to Sheung Wan MRT station. Not many rooms in a floor so not so noisy
