the place has a serene environment for family holiday. the catering services are good and the staff are friendly ready to make your stay enjoyable .the location is not far from the shopping malls e.g Ctymall and Nivas shopping mall. The crocodile farm is also a short distance away.

Room Tip: rooms with the sea view

The hotel is in a great location with a nice beach front, lovely pool area and gardens and nice rooms. Although rooms were not great, they were clean and comfortable. The service is great with friendly attentive staff throughout our stay, from arrival late Friday evening to late check out and departure on Sunday afternoon. Staff were knowledgeable on local attractions and taxi services used were also very friendly and accommodating! I was looking for a nice weekend gate-away with my sister and Bahari and Mombasa was just it!

Room Tip: Ocean facing is always great. Although ground floor is good with little garden area, the top floor has better views over the balcony.

Great views of the ocean. Good place to have a drink and/or something to eat while looking at the water and even going down to the beach as an option. Ideal place for a visit and 'beach experience'. Architecture is good as well.

Stayed at this facility for two nights and the food was not very enticing. It was bland and quite frankly lacked creativity. The chefs were not professional and presentable as well. The rooms were just okay. For a beach hotel, they have a lot of improvement to do.

As you pull up to the hotel, it looks lovely and as you are taken to your room the grounds are lovely but the room could be better and the holes in our mosquito nets were unacceptable. The bathroom was poor with a cracks in the wash basin. After we had showers the smell from all we could think of was stagnant water was terrible! Why when a hotel is running at under it's capacity, do they put guests in rooms with no view and lacking same toiletries between seemingly identical rooms.

The evening meal was a buffet and was alright, although better on the Friday evening than the Saturday. Beware that we were told that men have to wear long trousers for dinner, which I did not see on their site but they still seem to let men in wearing shorts!

The pool area is lovely but was spoiled by lots of children running around unsupervised.
We were also bullied out of our seats by German guests who had to bribe a pool attendant to do so.

The staff were lovely, but the service was extremely slow.
