I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Hotel is. This is the first of the Movenpick Brands in Kenya and so is new to everyone. Very nice building only let down by it ugly neighbor the Ken-Rail Towers! Beautiful reception area. Very friendly staff. Lovely large rooms well furnished.
The fitness center on the 22nd Floor is very well equipped. The trainers (I meet three) are all very helpful and eager to show one what exercises they should do.
The meeting facility was excellent, strong WIFI for a group of over 100 people. Great meals. On the whole I think it was a great experience. The only very small thing that the engineers missed is to make the elevators smart i.e Te computer should detect what car is nearest to the floor . People were calling all the elevators at the same time and this can become a problem if the hotel is full.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for higher floor rooms to view the Karura Forest. A sight to behold early in the morning.

Dear Makobu,
Thank you for the great review of our hotel - we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us! And thank you for taking the time to write such detailed feedback, much appreciated! As to the elevator synchronisation - in deed that has not been done as yet as required but we are working on it to resolve the matter.
Looking forward to having you back again very soon, Yours sincerely, andreas

Visited the tapas bar on the 15th floor this evening for a cocktail prior to dinner at the View restaurant on the 24th floor. Great happy hour cocktails and lovely staff and such a good view. Then up in the lift to the restaurant, our waiter even accompanied us with our unfinished cocktails!
The revolving restaurant is such fun! Amazing view, brilliant, attentive staff and fascinating food. I had the fondue chinoise which was such an interesting and enjoyable experience. I asked for gluten free bread which was readily available but not great quality. I would have loved to have tried the gluten free carrot cake after but had no room left.
Yes it’s a bit pricey, but perfect for a special occasion or a treat.
Altogether a wonderful experience and I will definitely be going back.

Amazing view on the 24th floor. The restaurant is rotating 360 degrees about one rotation in 80 minutes.
The food is just ok, we got the fondue, salmon and some spritzers, all where good but not special. The Sevice is attentive (too much attentive at times).
Wine list is limited for such place.
Price is high but not exaggerated, I will say it was lower than I expected.

You will come here for the view, not for the food or drinks.

I visited the rotating restaurant after a relative raved and raved about it. The view is 130%. Service, waiter was ok but manager Eric was on point. My main contention is the limited range of food choices. The problem with this is that once you've eaten there once and novelty wears off, nothing will make you go back. The food wasn't great as I had expected it to be. More shocking was how pricey it was, so I expected food to the next level. It's a decent deal but you wake up next morning feeling conned. Average cost per person is around 4500 without drinks if you include the famous fondues.

Dear Mercy W,
Thank you for your review of the view restaurant! And thank you for taking the time to write such detailed feedback, it is much appreciated! As to the menu choice, surely there are places that have more dishes on the menu, our plan is to do quarterly reviews of the same as to keep the offering interesting, also for repeat customers. With reference to the fondue pricing - it is linked to the relative cost of acquiring the necessary quality ingredients on the local market, our aim is however to remain very reasonable.
We hope to have the opportunity to see you again anytime soon, Yours sincerely, andreas
