I just returned from a solo trip to Egypt and was so glad that I decided to book a Nile cruise on the Nile Dolphin. What a wonderful bookend to my city time in Cairo. This is the only way to see the Valley of the Kings and other southerly attractions. The staff was so helpful and courteous. The accommodations were very clean and well cared for. There were common areas to meet and enjoy time with others on the cruise, but plenty of "me space" as well. I felt well cared for and always safe. Don't just put Egypt on your bucket list - GO!

We sailed on Royal Esadora from Luxor to Aswan and back on 18th June. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
The boat was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were fantastic; friendly and very helpful and we felt they became our friends during the week.
The person, however, who made our trip extra special was George Farah our guide for the week. His enthusiasm and knowledge were second to none and he took great care of our group of twelve, making adjustments to the excursions as necessary. He was constantly ensuring we were comfortable, drinking plenty and keeping in the shade (it was 45+ degrees!).
The excursions were well-planned and the early morning starts were great as it was cooler and quieter and gave us tie to relax later in the day
The food on the boat was superb with loads of choice and beautifully presented.
Drinks were cheap (we didn't opt for the drinks package)
Can't recommend this cruise highly enough and Egypt felt safe and the people friendly

Visiting the River Nile is a must if you are in Cario. It offers a wonderful view and experience of the river. Had a great lunch in on the bank of the Nile. It is an experience for a life time visit to this city.

To ride a boat at the Nile means to relax and see fantastic views especially if it is in upper Egypt (Aswan, Luxor, Asyut).

The Nile River is always new, always different, always surprising. Every time you see this river, you will see it with different eyes. Sometimes it looks clean, almost blue, sometimes it looks muddy, sometimes just like a huge cup of Egyptian tea, sometimes greenish... It is just amazing how many faces the Nile river can show to travelers. Many restaurants by the Nile are giving it a special charm. It is also a favorite place for young couples in love, they are sitting near the river, sometimes carefully holding hands, looking at each other with sparkles in their eyes. There is life on the Nile. Feluccas (old sail boats), the Nile taxi, fisherman boats, families living on the boats..
Another part of the story are many bridges above it. Bridges are Egyptian's favorite place to catch some fresh breeze in hot summer days and nights. Bridges are always crowded, plastic chairs next to the fence, you can have a nice cup of tea. Youngsters are taking crazy selfies climbing on the fence...I could write many, many stories about this beautiful river :)
