Housekeeping and service is extremely bad , ujale to struggle every day to explain how to clean room and provide with basic things like shower gel , face towels etc. after 6 non no one responds fm housekeeping . Pathetic
The only good experience was the Italian restaurant and the manager “ Mr Nagen” and his team , he would go out of his way to make special vegetarian food for me . A big thankyou to him .
Overall the staff is too slow , language is huge issue as hardly anyone talks or understands English .

My recently deceased mother’s urn was stolen out of my room and no feedback from management after one week.
No joke!

Batteries from tv remote keep getting swapped for dead ones.
Watch your things!

Service at pool restaurant very friendly.

Mr. Stein Nicolas,

We thank you for your stay with us and your comments.

We understand your emotion at the loss of this box which is so precious to you. My housekeeping manager met with you personally. The security department has scrutinized the video camera and had not had found anything suspicious from our employees who had access to your room during the period that you had communicated to us. As you say the wooden box was inside the suitcase. No member on the floor has the right to touch or open a bag or suitcase of our customer; the door of the room is always opened during service so that at anytime the supervisor can check on the service staff.
Our security employees checked thoroughly every employee when they leave the property and nothing was found during the search.
As for the remote control, if the batteries are faulty, it must be changed once our staff had been informed.

Regards.

My first night at the Hevea was fantastic. Travelled the whole way from the US and we were treated like king. The manager Mr Janyl is an asset to this particular place. He's got a speed of execution that i have not seen here. We came at a time where the restaurant was jam packed on Thursday, and he instantly refreshed a table for us. In the US, manager's who are handy are non existant. I was amazed by how he lead his team, bonding with them and getting everybody to work at his pace. Good suggestion from him as appetizer, the samoussas and fried calamary was divine. I have no choice, no choice than to give my recommendation to Hevea for a good dinner.

Spent a week at the hotel in Decmber. Staff are outstanding and can cater for all your needs. Rooms are very well furnished and have an unrivaled view of the Congo river. Wifi is complimentary however not always stable and fast. I only ate breakfast at the hotel which is varied and fresh. Overall a very enjoyable experience
