I've been to Limoncello several times -- the food is good, the outdoor patio is lovely, the ambiance is nice -- but we had a pretty poor experience last night. Our waitress ignored us for most of the 3 hours we were there celebrating a birthday. She was so glued to the soccer match on the big screen we just flagged down any of the servers in order to get her attention. The wicker chairs were uncomfortable, but cushions were provided so that was fine. We were bombarded with smoke from all sides, and admittedly smoking is allowed on an outdoor patio, but for some reason it was really unpleasant and made my throat itchy. Finally, when we received bill we saw we were charged a whopping US $10 for a "service gateau" fee. That would have been fine if it were mentioned in the menu, or if the waitress had mentioned it. We brought cupcakes for the birthday and therefore didn't need the usual plate, knife, small plates, forks, etc.. We talked to management, who apologized for the waitress and agreed to waive the fee since we hadn't been informed. And taking away your leftovers because the pizza is amazing and the portions so generous? We were charged $1 each for the takeaway boxes. Seems a little cheap for a posh restaurant where people are putting down $100+ for even a simple meal... despite the lovely setting I'm not sure we'll be back. And we didn't get the complimentary limoncello after dinner... :(
