Lunch time is always busy but it does not mean that has to be awful.... the Paella came to the table cold, the server took more than 15 minutes to brought us napkins, two pieces of limes and beverages... the shrimp ceviche was terrible... we ordered three different specials from the menu but only one was warm and properly cooked. I'm undecided if comeback to this place :-(

Food and services good. However I do not recommend in the weekends unless you are a masoquist and love to stay standing by for a long time. Worst if you are a foreigner and have senior relatives awaiting a call once you are accommodated. The surprise is that the project is worse than a fast-food. Cóctel Del Mar don't have wi-fy and there is no courtesy to offer you a facility to call your wife and her 97 y/o who lives next block, in the rears. You get stuck and no help is provided. A lack of respect and concern with the client, much more if you are a senior client. HORRIBLE! A banner should warn the client: no wi-fi service is available. At least you won't get stressed and stuck. Very poor attitude towards the client.

I was there twice with my family and we had a very good lunch. Fish is presented oriental style and the dishes come plentiful to the table.
Service is correct even if we had to look for the waiting staff sometimes since they are very busy and don’t come around too often to check if you are ok. We didn’t taste the sushi, but I’d certainly suggest if to any fish lover!

Place was recommended for fresh seafood and it did not disappoint. Service provided by our server Robert was good - prompt and very friendly. Went to the restaurant on the main level of the building as there are three floors. There’s a seafood market on the 3rd floor, and another restaurant on the second which is a bit formal than it’s counterpart. The menu selection is extensive and both the kitchen and sushi area are open in plain sight, transparency at it’s best! The sushi platters were beautifully presented and the food was phenomenal. Had the octopus salad appetizer then tried the seafood ceviche which was excellent. Our server pointed out that the restaurant upstairs menu options were a bit different as most of the seafood was primarily fried and paella’s are a must. Just to note, this place is very busy on a Sunday (both restaurants) and would be best to go on a weekday. Overall Coctel Del Mar offers quality and inexpensive seafood.

3 different locations where you can taste seafood dishes.
Atmosphere in the main location is huge and comfortable, parking is not enough and become a heel to find a place without a risk to be ticketed by the transit police.
Restaurants ( all locations) are always overcrowded, then you need to be ready to wait in line for an average of 45 minutes. in the 183 location there is no handicap preferences or aids.
I did not like the service in the past and the menu was regular, I heard they changed reason why i went back last weekend on the 183 street restaurant.
surprised me that changes are minimal.
After wait for 40 minutes, with major adults standing on the cue, they accomodated us (3 person) in a table for 2, offered the menu and immediately the waiter was expecting us to order, I was forced to "beg" for few more minutes.
Menu seems to be more interesting than in the past, with good variety of dishes, but service still slow and when you receive your plate is cold or slightly warm.
Prices are not bad, but for the same you can visit different other restaurants without the need to wait in line for so long to get a disappointing service from waiters that are rushing all the time, showing a fast food restaurant behaviour.
