My partner and I visited this place one evening last November on returning from Montevideo hungry and tired.
From outside the pizza's looked nice, and the venue pleasant enough, that I thought we could have a pleasant evening.
I can't say anything bad about the service - it was moderately busy, and the staff were polite and prompt. The place appears to offer take-away / delivery options, and you could see some activity going on over and above the in house service.
Unfortunately, when our pizza's did arrive, and while presentation wise they looked good, as we expected, the flavours left us sorely disappointed. Each of our pizza's lacked a mix that really did anything to the palate, and the base didn't have any richness or softness to it, as I recall.
I've since searched and read a number of reviews for this place - it seems very popular with the locals, so it does make me question whether we just had one unlucky experience.
That said, I have yet to find a pizza place in Maldonado or Punta that really delights the palate.
