Overall, it was a miserable night at the Deborah Hotel. I traveled w/ my 2 year old daughter and mother. There was no heat, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the hotel room and bathroom are extremely old. I actually felt dirty in this hotel.
January is cold and wet in Israel, the least they could supply is warmth for their guests. The remote control didn't work and there was no water pressure in the shower.
As for the heat, each front desk girl would explain a different story. Hard to get honesty at this hotel. Finally, we had enough so checked out the next day, instead of helping us in finding other accomodations or offering any sort of help for the ordeal, they exclaimed w/ "you need to contact the website to get your money back for the night." Fortunately, American Express will deal w/ it! We ended up spending another $20/night at a boutique hotel on Dizengoff near the center w/ the best service!More
