The location of the hotel is up by the marina and is handy for the beach but the location is a long way from other parts of Tel Aviv so may not suit everyone. The lobby and reception were a bit shabby and I expect that will be addressed in the building works that our going on. The building work didn't affect our stay. Staff are obviously aware that it could, because we were constantly being asked how our stay was. Our room was large, pleasant and comfortable. One or two of the bath fittings were a bit wobbly but that's a minor quibble. The breakfast was excellent with many choices, and plentiful. The pool is large but underwhelming and mostly seemed to be used for swimming lessons. We went to the beach instead.

This was my third 2-night at this hotel since mid September so I am familiar with the property and the amenities. As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I hoped for various upgrades and perks for that status and for my recent continued business.

Upon check-in it quickly became apparent that I was not given one of their better rooms. It was dated and very close to the construction which began, as promised, around 7:30. The next morning I spoke with the Guest Services Manager, Ivo Jacome, who went out of his way to address my disappointment about the room which was promptly changed. And for the inconvenience, he offered me other amenities as a gesture of good will and appreciation for my loyalty as a customer.

The hotel is well situated by the beach and I had excellent services provided by the concierge staff. I look forward to my next return to this property.

Can’t believe it! Just got into our rooms in the Crowne Plaza. Apparently upgraded due to the building works. Never seen such shabby rooms with air on that hardly works. Now all the manager is suggesting is that we speak to our travel agent and check into another hotel!!!
Terrible service. Feel so awfully treated,so upset ruined our precious time on holiday.
Don’t touch this hotel with a barge pole!!!

We would like to assure you Crowne Plaza Hotels are very proud of its level of service, and quality of its product and we are not different at Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach.

We are trying to understand what situations took place that left you feeling disappointed with our hotel. We are hospitality professionals who pride ourselves on delivering world-class service and are happy doing so. For that reason, the comments are troubling and were certainly looked into.

Most importantly, we would like to apologize for any issues you may be experiencing at our hotel due to the refurbishing. We are currently renovating to make enhancements to deliver a more comfortable stay for all of our guests.

After a thorough investigation of this matter, our findings conclude:

The renovation is duly publicized in your travel agent's website. Therefore, every guest is well aware of it when booking.

The management sophisticated attitude, and personalized assistance was ever wholehearted dedicated, all the way long, having complimentary upgraded the rooms, offered complimentary parking, and sending of amenities to the rooms.

We take very seriously the confidence our guests place in us and we work diligently to rectify any unsatisfactory experiences.

We had been warned by the hotel that is was under construction (outer) and that a upgrade and free breakfast were to be as compensation. This was not the case, staff at reception did not acknowledge this. We were given keys to our room and when arriving it had not been cleaned after previous occupants. Were given a new room but the extra bed for child was lacking. When this had been repaired we found out that it was broken (!) and we again needed to contact staff to get a new rollout bed to the room.
Every piece of furniture in the room is worn, fridge not clean and uncleaned splashes of... something everywhere. Not to my standard of cleaning at all!
We constantly ran out of toilet-paper and needed to contact housekeeping for new rolls as they seemed to only issue one small to each room daily. There are a lot of staff around but with extremely limited resources and abilities. Always greeting with a smile but not able to do much when we had complaints.
The location towards the beach is FANtastic, almost made up for the lack of quality at the hotel itself. Also breakfast was super fresh with great variety and excellent coffee barista service. I do not reccomend this hotel and am not wanting to return. Plenty of cozy boutique hotels nearby.

Room tip: I don´t think any rooms are extra good at the moment as they are renovating outer/exterior and balconies are locked with dirty windows.

Wonderful and helpful staff. I enjoyed my stay and the staff helped me to choose places to visit during my short trip. Plenty of places to eat, shop and walk to within a very short distance from the hotel. My room was 5 star quality at 4 star cost.

Room tip: Its on the Beach and close to the airport
