This is our second stay in this hotel during our visit to Israel this month. We stayed in the hotel because of his proximity to the train station, to the north Tel Aviv bus terminal and to the mall, supermarket and the food/ entertainment area of Sarona.
The hotel and service were great

Convenient hotel located by the Israeli Centre shopping, groceries and scheduled shuttle bus service to the beach. Felt very safe and secure in this hotel. If incident occurs, there is “Shelter” located in centre of the building/core at the exit stairs on each floor. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have all the modern amenities including kettle, minibar, iron, etc. Buffet breakfast is delicious with so much choices. Fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccinos, pastries, hummus, the list goes on! Yum! Highly recommend!

We travel regularly to Israel and had the dubious pleasure of sampling a fair number of hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as several abysmal establishments sold as hotels between these cities, mainly in kibbutzim. Our previous experience, staying at Crowne Plaza in Jerusalem, was very negative.
It should be stated upfront that Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center is by far the best of all these hotels, and is likely to be our address in future visits to Israel. The value per price underscores this, given the ridiculous prices of hotels in Israel, particularly those belonging to international chains along the beach strip in Tel Aviv. Most of the latter are, in addition to being overpriced, inferior in quality compared to their counterparts elsewhere. As we stayed for 9 nights, we believe we established a clear impression of this hotel.
The hotel is very well situated near the Ayalon Freeway in the center of Tel Aviv, making it easy to get just about everywhere. There is a supermarket just across from the entrance, as well as a mall with all kinds of shops, which we found very convenient, with ample parking. The common areas of the hotel are nice and clean, the same was true for our room, which was spacious and very pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Service was generally good (with the usual difficulty with the number of towels one needs in a room with 3 guests, which we are familiar with), as was breakfast, leaving aside the usual caveat (see below).

There were 4 issues during our visit we found lacking, of which only 3 can be fixed:

1. The shower in our room was leaking, and water came under the threshold almost every time we showered.

2. The smell of garbage in the parking area at the back side of the hotel was overwhelming. As we parked there throughout our visit, we found this truly unpleasant.

3. The reception staff needs to be familiar with clock hours. We ordered a wake-up call for 03:45 on the day we left, which was specified, in order to avoid mistakes, both as quarter-to-four and as 03:45, but received a wake-up call 02:45, followed by a second one 02:55, which made sure we lost that hour of sleep. Not fun.

4. The last problem, which afflicts most, in not all, hotels in Israel is the shameful surrender to Jewish religious ultimatums, in which logic is not the driving force. That means you cannot have espresso or fresh-squeezed juice on Saturday morning, as the rabbis decided that electrical appliances should not be turned on on this day. Being in Israel during the Passover week, it naturally also meant no bread was served the whole week, whatever your opinion of the dry and tasteless matzot is. As this is a general problem in this country, it should not be laid at the door of this hotel, it is just sad. We state this additionally as useful information for non-Jewish visitors.

To sum up, a very positive experience altogether, certainly recommended hotel.

Stayed here for four nights on the Club Floor. Room is spacious, modern, well kept, but not always quiet. Even on the 22nd floor one could hear traffic, but not loud enough to spoil ones sleep.
Staff friendly and spoke English well.
Paying for the Club Floor was worth the money as the offering is generous: varied breakfast, delicious pastries and a varied warm meal. Offering some nuts and chips with your drinks when meal time is over, would be an improvement.
We stayed at the beach twice, but this part of town is more interesting with Sorona square in walking distance. We walked to the beach and Tachana which is a very pleasurable walk. Train to the airport was a 5 minute walk.
Would certainly consider staying here again.
