Nice Hostel at a small square, about 15 min walk from Old Town. Very busy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, a bit dated, but what would you expect from a hostel named "Abraham" . Near tram and bus station. They supply a map with great tips.

We were a group of 5 on a road trip throughout Israel and we became fans of Abraham hostels. Very welcoming, organised, professional staff that are also informal and easily approachable to share experiences. Nice communal areas, rooftop, ground terrace, TV room, book exchange, bar, social pub games, lots of activities in the hostel such as language exchange, how to make the best humus and craft beer tasting. Breakfast was reasonable as well, we had eggs for the first time in Israel! However boiled eggs, better than nothing :) Sorry if we finished with the IPAs in the bar!!
There are lockers in the rooms, not too crowded, towels are also provided. You have to time your shower 20 minutes before you take a shower in order to heat the water, this is only in the en suite rooms.
I enjoyed the balance of young and older guests, this hostel is targeted for everybody and still very welcoming.

This is the biggest hostel i have stayed. I ejoyed its dynamic, convinience, cleaness and cool atmosphere. It is a 20m to thd town, but its delightful to wander along the beautiful street. I took some tours from them and had really good time. I also stayed in Abraham in Tel aviv.

Very social, big hostel full of young people socializing. It was well located, close to the Jerusalem old town and some nice restaurants and bars around. The area is very safe and front desk personnel is friendly and helpful. The social area had pool tables and big couches to seat and relax. Beds are not so comfortable but staying there means to get something decent and cheap.

It was during the Christmas period that I stayed here and there are both good points and not such good points about this place and we had a private room.

This Hostel is quite expensive for what you get though this is Jerusalem, the room was a bit grotty though clean enough and it is a good 20 walk to the Old City which makes it quite inconvenient especially when public transportation has stopped during the Jewish Sabbath.

On the plus side this Hostel offers some great tours and the 3 day Jordanian one was awesome, the breakfast is edible enough and there is even a bar on the first floor!
