There is simply so much to see in this one place. The beautiful mosques, the busy streets, great restaurants and so much more.

The heart of historical Istanbul, This place is there since the Roman city and you're able to see the remainings from the Hippodrome with the Blue Mosque beside and Hagia Sophia in the eyesight.

This area definitely has the most historical signifincance and has a lot of old world charm, but it is riddled with people trying to sell you things and can get quite dirty in a lot of places. Overall still one of the best and most authentic places in Istanbul.

large, many ethnic goods and souvenirs that can be collected. Price quite expensive but still negotiable. Entering sultanahmet just like visiting the old city in istanbul, entering a different decade.
