My wife and I stayed around 4 nights at iRoha after seeing great ratings on TripAdvisor. The staff were incredible, and the male owner was very friendly. They even took the time to recommend some local Ramen places, and to teach us some Khmer. Special mention to Theara, Ravi & Suran, but thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

My partner and I stayed here for a night whilst travelling in Cambodia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and really do go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I can honestly say I can't remember the last time I received such amazing hospitality and everyone always gives you a smile and hello, one of the ladies even ran to give me an umbrella when it was raining outside! The owner was really lovely and welcomed us when we arrived and ensured that we were happy with our stay the staff even walked us out when we left which was really lovely. I really liked the effort to minimise single use plastics as there are communal water fountains on each floor and glass bottles topped up everyday in your room. The area is a peaceful paradise in the busy city a must stay if you are visiting :)

Room tip: They actually upgraded our room free of charge to overlook the pool and garden area which is lovely

The iRoHa hotel is a small, Japanese owned hotel in a very quiet back street, in the Embassy district of Phnom Penh. The hotel is set amongst beautiful mature trees and shrubs which make it a delightful and restful place to stay, away from the hubbub of the city.
The owner is charming and interested in his guests, and his young staff team is very well trained, helpful and committed to guests enjoying their stay.
Rooms in the hotel are large and traditionally decorated. The huge low level bed has mosquito netting - and yes, there are mosquitoes. This is the only down-side of the hotel, but they are not malarial and if you want to avoid mosquitoes, don't come to Cambodia! There are "plug-ins" in the rooms, and staff provide mosquito repellent as soon as you venture outdoors. Our bathroom was huge and well supplied with lovely toiletries.
Breakfast and other meals are served by the side of the smallish swimming pool, looking over the lovely gardens. As with other places we stayed in, in Cambodia, breakfast is provided from a menu rather than a buffet, but there is a very good choice and the food is plentiful and very tasty. We also had dinner in the hotel. There is not a vast choice, but it is quite sufficient and includes vegetarian options. The white pepper ice cream was the most extraordinary I have ever tasted!
It is about a 15 minute walk to the Russian market and there are cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. You need to drive/take a taxi into the city centre, but this only takes 10-15 minutes and is a small price to pay for being in such a relaxing location.
There is a small display of carefully handcrafts on sale in the lobby. There are several small villas set among the gardens, but I did not see into any of them.
Overall, I would strongly recommend the iRoHa hotel for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with delightful staff and real attention to detail.

Room tip: All rooms are quiet. Those at the front definitely have a balcony. Most rooms are up one flight of broad, shallow stairs.

The iRoHa Garden Hotel is a very nice, very comfortable and very calm place in the middle of Phnom Penh. The rooms a very tastefully and individually decorated. The personnel of the hotel is very kind and a great help by organizing the visit of the city, including recommendations for restaurants and theatre. We (family with 2 kids, 14 and 17) enjoyed the stay very much.

Designed by the Japanese owner and located within a quiet neighbourhood of Phnom Penh close to many embassies, the Iroha Garden boutique hotel is an oasis of calm and greenery amongst the bustle and noise of the city. The rooms and gardens are beautiful and decorated by furniture and traditional artworks sourced by the owner from across Cambodia. We found the staff extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about what to see and where to go in the city. The menu offers a range of traditional Cambodian and western dishes (the latter keeping two older teenagers very happy) and was all freshly cooked and delicious. I have no hesitation in highly recommending IRoHa Gardens boutique hotel.

Room tip: We had ground floor rooms close to the pool - really lovely.
