Good things - very polite and helpful hotel staff, great location, low prices

Bad things - small rooms, nit completely clean bed linen, bad sound isolation (we’ve heard everything that was going on in the hall), breakfast below average

We also booked a double bedroom, but got a twin bedroom, but since we’ve stayed for just one night, we haven’t complained.

First the positives. Wonderful welcome with fruit and drinks. The ladies are all lovely, both at the front desk and during breakfast service, so attentive. Breakfast was great, among the best we’ve had in Vietnam. Lots of hot water and good pressure in the shower. The pool is wonderful after a long hot day of walking or cycling. Good airco and extra fan.

Disappointments are: very dirty room and bathroom. Our telephone was so covered in grease and other sticky stains that I opted to walk downstairs instead of use it. I actually mopped the floor myself with a towel because it was so gritty and sticky. Beds were fine but it was only a sheet over the mattress (a thick mattress protector is a hygienic necessity in a hotel).
I enquired about buses to the next town and the man at the desk insisted the only way to leave town was the night bus at 5 pm at a cost of 130,000 dong. Silly naturally and as such, next morning we took the normal bus from the An Hoa bus station ( departs every 20 minutes at cost of 41,000 dong, and was faster too).

Tip - if you want to cycle around Hue, hire bikes elsewhere. We had three from the hotel, all seriously defect.

Summed up - I would probably stay here again as the positives outweigh the downsides.

We stayed here for just 1 night.
Pros:
-Good friendly staff. Can speak english
- cheap
- clean rooms
- breakfast has lot of options. All on order to make basis. So the dishes are served hot and fresh.

Cons
- very small rooms
- slightly weak wifi
- pool is a little small. But the depth is sufficient.
- bathroom is also a little small.

Really happy with our stay. Great for 2 people and short stay.

Hidden down a side street just off the main “strip” this hotel looks quite run down from the exterior. However the rooms were clean enough, loads of hot water, and the A/C was cold. Breakfast was plentiful and included as much as you could eat, all made fresh as well as a wide range of drinks (all included too!). Rooms were cleaned each day, with fresh towels.

The only downside was that reception cut the power to your room via a large fuse box every time you went out, meaning that you couldn’t leave anything charging in the room.

Lovely hotel on quiet side street. The staff is exceptional and arranged everything to make our trip enjoyable and stress-free. Upon arrival, they picked us up at the train station, helped us book cheap plane tickets for our departure (cheaper than what we'd originally planned on), and arranged great-value tours of the nearby tombs. They also recommended a wonderful restaurant and gave us a map to get around. The location is ideal and the pool is a nice refresher after a hot day!
