Description: Place a large lacquer table in the heart of a fast changing city. Then put together a handful of people around a cup of coffee. Make sure these people have something strong in common such as: "similar roots". Add some "Ru" extracts; a few lullabies and tales, a dash of childhood memories and traditions, two or three animals and a pinch of mystery.

Visited with family and friends for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. We sat out in the terrace, and we were provided with a switch when we wanted some service. Had the Salmon spaghetti in filo pastry, and the beef sliders for my kids were tasty. The ice tea was also very refreshing.
The downside though was that communicating in English with the waiters and waitresses was a challenge. They were very hospitable but we could tell they didn't quite understand we were requesting. It was a struggle to follow up the food orders as the food took a long time to come as well.
Otherwise, it was a good late lunch in a very relaxing environment opposite Ben Thanh market.

I saw this Bistro on a Saturday night when doing a shopping at the night market.
The place's look so nice. We just wanted a place to sit and drink for a bit before heading back to the hotel.
We chose 2nd floor, non-air con zone, the staffs are lovely and the place was ours since there were no others customers. We just had a set of finger food that came together with 2 glasses of beer. Dishes tasted good. The price surely high, but we had a really nice time in a lovely place.

Venue nice, food ok.
Prices steep for Vietnam and service charge of 5% added, also extra charges for wet towels etc ( not explained before they were on table) all added up to spoil the experience.

We ordered one Vietnamese ice coffee and one cappuccino. When neither of the drinks had arrived after 20 minutes, despite reminders to the waiter, we decided to leave. We informed the reception staff, but she didn't really care.

We ate here twice with the hope that the the first experience was the result of a very busy lunch service. Nope.. We were one of two couples and still waited AGES for drinks let alone food. The prices are very inflated and yet there is still a 5% service fee and extra charges for the wet towels they give you (but didn’t actually give us the first time). The menu looks so appetising but some things taste average. You don’t want hit and miss when going somewhere nice. Many waitstaff have very bad English. Totally ok with that but it resulted in getting our order wrong and they were unwilling to change what they brought to the table. It’s such a shame because the venue is just so atmospheric. Best advice is just go there to try the wonderful coffees they have. The markets are hard work at times so it is a lovely reprieve from the noise and heat. The Sand Dune was our favourite :-) Watch the house wine. Red is not great but the white is cold and lovely.
