This is an absolutely amazing place to stay that is very private with your own pool, patio/fish pond and villa. You TRULY feel like you are at an exclusive fancy villa getting pampered and served!! Don't waste you money seeking privacy at a crowded, expensive, "exclusive" hotel and come to Samui BnB.
We visited other luxury hotels like the W for something to do but always was disappointed and sick of people so we just came back to our private pool and patio.
The host family are amazing Italian ex-pats that know the island, respect your privacy and pamper you while you are guests. You quickly become friends with these wonderful hosts!
The breakfast is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING spread of food served on fine china with organic fruit, and omelettes made to order.
If we ever come back to Thailand we will absolutely be booking Samui BnB again!!
My husband and I stayed at Samui BnB Villa for 3 weeks and it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay! The villa is quiet and immaculate, and the little pool is a real luxury to dip into during hot days. Air-conditioning in the room works very well and is suprisingly quiet which is good because Koh Samui is very humid. Bed (in the double room) was big and very firm, which I liked. Huge shower. The room itself is very light and airy with big windows that you can open. The villa is close to the jungle so there are plenty of animals around that might make some noise from time to time (here's looking at you, stupid shouting bird!) so if you're a very light sleeper (like I am) bring earplugs just in case. Wifi internet access was very fast and reliable, which was a huge plus! You can use the facilities (bigger pool, spa, small gym, restaurant) of the Kirikaya Resort, where the villa is located, but we didn't use any of those facilities during our stay since we were so happy with our villa and pool. :)
The BnB hosts, Morena and Simon, are very friendly and hospitable and made us feel very much at home, there were just the best! Delicious breakfast served every day (freshly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs or whatever you choose) in a tranquil setting offered a great start to every day. The hosts have 2 cats, which are very shy, and there are some very friendly neighbourhood cats that come around all the time. I _love_ cats so daily cat cuddles was a huge bonus! :D If you don't like cats or are allergic you can easily avoid the cats and they are not allowed indoors.
We were at the villa during the extremely unusual and heavy January 2017 rains (it rained copious amounts for 7 days straight, the airport closed and roads were flooded..). Even though it was disappointing to have so many rainy days I am very happy that we were staying at this lovely place, where it was quiet and we could have the place to ourselves. It made the rainy days a lot better and comfortable.
The villa is located maybe 10 minutes walk from the main ring road of Samui, and it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to central Mae Nam. So it isn't smack in the middle of the action, which I like. There is a little restaurant just 5 minutes down the road from the villa, called Kwankao. They are ridiculously cheap and make good food - great for days when you don't want to venture too far. We didn't rent any cars or bikes for transportation, instead we used Samui's own Uber equivalent, called Navigo. You order a car from the Navigo app and they come and pick you up and you will see the total price (estimate) beforehand. Cheaper than using the regular yellow/red taxis and no bartering is needed and the cars were very nice and clean. So get the Navigo app if you want a convenient way to get around!
Do NOT miss some hidden gems on Mae Name beach, which you can reach in 15 minutes by walking down to the main road where you cross the road and from there you can reach the beach easily. Two great restaurants are right the beach, Koh Samui Kitesurfing Club and Nature Bar. These places were our definite favourites, with awesome food and friendly staff and happy hour with 99 baht per cocktail. Mae Nam beach there is really nice and quiet.
So all in all: Samui BnB Villa is a great find! The hosts are simply the best and the whole place is very relaxing, pretty and clean. I definitely recommend staying here.
We have been staying 9 days, submerged by the luxury property, its garden, its swimming pool, its surrounding forest and, most of all, by the great availability of Simone & Morena, which suggestions and advises have always been appreciated. Cleanness and care of guests has always been a top priority. The morning breakfast was always served at a convenient time and was as per our expectations. The location is really fantastic and being Samui a very small island it is very easy to move around the island by renting a bike or a car. The forest's road run just around the Kirikayan resort, where the beautiful villa is located and driving across it will directly bring you to Lamai in a fantastic scenario. If we'll go back to Thailand we'll not miss again the opportunity to stay here. Thanks again, to Simone & Morena, for the great stay!!!
Stunning villa, inside a luxory gated residence. The hosts forthcoming and friendly. The villa is amazing in a beautiful tropical garden absolutely peaceful and private. The guests have a unique swimming pool. The location is the perfect thai Paradise, where you can recharge the energies. I do reccomend this to gourmet travellers, who can appreciate beauty.

We spent 12 blissful days at Samui BnB Villa at the northern end of Koh Samui. The Villa is gorgeous - a spacious, vaulted ceiling bedroom room, huge shower, lots of storage/cupboard space and the most serene exotic garden with private sparkling swimming pool. The owners Simon and Morena are such great hosts who care about their guests and their holiday experience. A delicious breakfast is served by Morena in the garden - what a way to start the day, waking up to soft music and fruit in the garden! (plus other breakfast goodies). There is plenty to explore in the north area. The road inland from the Villa winds through lush coconut plantations, a welcome retreat from the busy Ring road. A short scooter ride took us to Maenam beach (lots of cafes), and a little further on to Lomprayah Ferry Pier (more cafes in the little streets off the beach). The beach at W Retreat is quiet and beautifully shaded, while Fisherman's Village is perfect for dining, bars and a spot of shopping. With all this just a short ride from Samui BnB, we were very well placed to enjoy the best of Samui. We would definitely recommend this to travellers who the love peace and quiet of a private villa, yet enjoy some time in lively setting (fisherman's village etc) and have their own transport. The local knowledge of Simon and Morena was so useful in making the most of our holiday time, especially when it came to food! Thank you Simon and Morena, we will be back one day!
