Big surprise arriving at newly renovated TT Guesthouse as it's now possible to come in thru the night. Yes they now have a keycard system to enter, after the reception area is locked up at midnight. More importantly they also installed a CCTV system, so I felt very safe knowing this was operating.

Still very clean. Still a fantastic local food zone just up the street. Wifi is strong enough for what I needed. Lovely calm & chilled zone downstairs. There's also free drinking water; great for those trying to reduce their plastic usage.

Really lovely local family run this long-running guesthouse. Usually one French speaking staff member around. New friendly staff member who speaks great English. Have been coming to TT Guesthouse for many years, and will continue to do so.

Room Tip: Book an air con room if it's hot and humid. During the cool season maybe a fan room is OK but only if you are used to tropical climate

The facilities are not that special, but you have everything you need. It's located at a super convenient location in Bangkok, it's close to the most main things. And the best thing is, it's only a 10 minute walk to the super cheap watertaxi. Use that watertaxi! On the way you will see a small kind off street food place that only sells Pad Thai, that Pad Thai is one of the best ones we had!

The staff is the best, so friendly! They helped us with everything we needed. We stayed longer than expected, we liked it very much. Wifi is okay! And they have free water!

The place is renovated and we stayed for 10 days, a week more than expected.
Rooms are basic and clean, showers and toiletes are very nice, clean and new.
Staff is polite, and it is a good deal 10-15$ in the city center. Grand place is 4km away, Chinatown 10 mins on foot. Silom, Sathorn and Lumpini are within 15-30 mins away.
This area is much nicer than Khao San road.

I stayed 3 nights together with a friend..
We were delighted the way we were treated..always available and super accomodating. The staff are outstanding.
The facilities are modest but always clean and smelling good. It is situated outside the tourist area but 10 minutes from the river on foot. Very safe and cozy area for neighbors. I will come back!

Stayed 2 nights at T.T guesthouse as it was cheap (around 400baht per night) for a double room with fan and shared bathroom. Read that the reviews were quite good and money for value. Money value wise, it is just okay. The rooms are clean, so is the toilet although most often it is wet because the shower and the toilet seat are in one cubicle. Was there in March so it was REALLY quite hot. Especially during the day. At night it was also hot but not as bad as the day. The strange part is the reception service. Wanted to ask them about buying bus tickets but there was no one at the reception and only the cleaner girl who speaks barely less than 2 words which were "Where key?" That was the only thing she would ask us whenever she us going out. Also, after 11pm or so, the front gate will be locked, so in a sense, we felt quite trapped in the building. I wouldn't stay there again. Surrounding the area are some food stalls (but very local, as in noodles and thai rice), 7-11, groceries and some fruit vendors. It is somewhat close to Hua Lam Phong train station though if you have bags, I wouldn't recommend walking. Not that close to train stations. Location wise isn't so great. I wouldn't return there but it is bearable and alright. Wi-Fi wasn't always available, but most times it was.
